Wild Cumberland is a grassroots group dedicated to protecting the ecology, wilderness, and wildlife of Cumberland Island. We a chapter of Wilderness Watch, the country’s leading conservation organization focused solely on protecting the lands and waters in the 110 million-acre National Wilderness Preservation System. Wild Cumberland strives for proper stewardship of the Cumberland Island Wilderness reserves through citizen oversight, education, and monitoring.
